Welcome to the Random Thoughts games page. This page is split into three sections: Sci-fi, Fantasy and Other. Each category is grouped in order of popularity so the more played games will be nearer the top. Remember that many of our games will not be fully displayed at screen resolutions under 800x600 and the colors will look best in at least 16bit color mode. Furthermore, all of our games now run best in a browser running under the Mozilla Public License (such as Netscape) using the Sun Microsystems JVM. The Adventures of Rex the Red: Episode II ~ The Dark Monastery.
Take control of the valiant Rex the Red in this action adventure RPG. Dark times have befallen Ivesdale. Monsters run rampant along the roads, and a sinister presence has arisen at the nearby monestary. Improved game engine over episode I features faster game play, more monsters, more traps and more treasure! Premium Members can enjoy saving and access to Episode I as well. Will Rex prevail? The Adventures of Rex the Red.
Take control of the valiant Rex the Red in this action adventure RPG. Explore a fantasy world teeming with monsters and treasure with our mascot, Rex the Red. Peril awaits around every corner in the form of green slimes, poison mushrooms, even the vile Fishlips! Choose how Rex improves as you gain levels with ability points, allowing you to tailor your hero to fit your personal playing style.
Rex and the Dragon.
Take on the mantle of Rex the Red, as you guide our hero deep into a dragon's lair in a valiant attempt to rescue five fair maidens. Five standard dungeons, and thousands of random dungeons make for nearly endless replay value on your hunt for hidden bonus items. Regrettably, this game does require a reasonably high end PC.
Treasure Keeper.
Enter a dark fantasy world teeming with monsters, traps and fabulous treasures! Explore vile dungeons, crypts, and temples in this turn based strategy RPG. This game holds thousands of items and many secret characters and units which you can unlock and command. Play through in single player, or tackle up to 3 friends in our new multiplayer option.
Mercenaries of Dosbar.
A fanstasy themed turn based strategy game. Take control of an intrepid band of mercenaries on a mission for fame and fortune!! Fight across seven different countries, battle dozens of monsters, and use over 1500 items on your quests. Non linear random missions allow for countless hours of gameplay as your characters develop into mighty heros.
Diib's Dilemma.
Become an apprentice wizard in this fantasy themed action/strategy game. Delve into the spellcasting side of the world of Mythica as you fight through the mysterious tower to which you were banished. Master a diverse list of 40 spells as you battle a dozen monsters in over 100 levels!! Secret bonuses, spells, and levels gives you lots to explore.
Fang Arena.
Delve into the gladiator pits in Fang Arena! This fantasy turn based strategy game is one of our upcoming projects. Premium Members can enjoy playing with the Paladin class, and everyone can choose between 4 base character classes. Fight your way through the circle's to win your freedom. This game is the first done by a new programmer for our team, Elaith.Science Fiction
Red Phoenix: Helix.
Once again take to the stars piloting the Red Phoenix spacecraft, this time in tandem with another player. Fight through endless waves of enemies and compete for a high score in either cooperative or versus mode.
Silent Frontier.
A science fiction real time strategy game. Choose one of two warring factions fighting in deep space. Build ships, mine distant moons, discover new technologies, and blast the other guy to pieces!! In depth strategy allows you the choice to fully customize the components on every ship, or just let the AI take care of the details for you and focus on the killing! Command story specific hero units, gain experience for destroying enemy units, and win the war for your side! Features 3 unique modes of play, high scores, and an in depth campaign game with two different paths and endings - over 70 single player missions in all!
Red Phoenix.
Take control of the Red Phoenix in fifteen action packed levels filled with asteroid fields, bizarre aliens and diabolical bosses.
Hover Tanks.
A top down action shooter. Take control of one out of three tanks and enter the arena. Buy enhancements for your tank with every succesive victory as you make your way through the tournament!Other Genres
Hexagon Conundrum.
This is our first true puzzle game. Match the colors of the hexagon edges by rotating them with a mouse click. When all the edges on a hexagon match it's neighboring hexagons it will fade out. The game is over when all hexagons are marked as complete.
Flight of the Frog.
Take to the skies over the pond in your faithful biplane to protect your fellow froglings from certain doom. Launch rockets and destroy the blimps before they can land. If at any time all the blimps are grounded or you crash into the landscape the game is over.
Orbs.
An easy and fun puzzle game. Use planning, strategy and position to get more of your blue orbs on the map. String together large chain combos for extra score and pull off a surprise win! Easy to learn and enjoy, true mastery will take careful thought and preperation on every level. Be careful, with every board beaten the AI gets just a little bit tougher.
Jigsaw Canundrum.
This is a fast paced puzzle game, where a player controls the placement and rotation of pieces of a jigsaw puzzle.
Ghostie Quest.
Ghostie Quest is a side scrolling platform game. Choose between six unique ghosts on a quest to save your friends, collect powerups, and save the day!! Non-linear game play and loads of secret levels provide fun for the whole family.
Frog Cloning II.
It is a well known scientific fact that if frogs could clone themselves they would soon take over the world. Of course the question we find ourselves asking is: Which would win? The yellow frogs or the green? In this turn based strategy game you must outwit a cunning enemy, dodge hidden mines, and spawn new frogs in order to control the pond.
Frog Stones.
Our first multiplayer offering. Players take turns placing frog shaped colored stones on the game board until someone has five in a row. Although initially intended to be premium content, this game is currently available to all.Other Games Pages
Multiplayer.
A compilation page of all our multiplayer games. This includes games that can be played over the internet, as well as games that can be played by multiple people at the same computer.
The Lab.
Check out demos and incomplete versions of our games that are currently in the works. Keep in mind we work on an odd schedule and we can never estimate when a game will be completed. However, we have found interest in a game will always make us work faster.
