Saving Your Game Mercenaries is a long and challenging game which we hope will entertain you for months to come! To this end, you can save your party at great personal expense to us!! (Just kidding) Press F6 while on the Resource Management screen to save. If you die, just re log in with your saved game and keep going!!
Getting Started The first thing you probably want to do is jump right in to playing!! Although we suggest that you read the entire help file, this first section will give you enough information to get you on your way. Even if you don't read any other section you should at least read the strategy guide because it will give you many important tips that will keep you alive as you adventure in the land of Mythica.

Resource Management The first place you will come to when playing is the resource management screen. From here you can review your band in detail, buy new equipment and hire new characters. Most importantly, this screen includes the list of missions available at the Guild, allowing you to choose your fate. You can also review information about the world of Mythica, and give life to your party by customizing the names.

Playing Missions Most of your time will be spent completing missions. Once you have made a move there is no turning back time, so plan your strategy carefully before commanding each of your mercenaries. Here you will get to see your intrepid band in action, perfecting the skills of warfare. Checking your Mission Info often will be vital to your continued success as you delve deeper into the game.

End of Mission After every mission you will go to the treasure screen. This screen offers a report of the important information from the previous battle, recording upkeep fees, money earned and fame gained. Here you can also resurect mercenaries who died valiantly in battle. Any items you managed to grab during the mission will also be shown here.

Guild Library By popular demand the scribes of Dosbar have painstakingly recorded information on the most common characters, items and monsters you will encounter in your many adventures.
