After every mission you will go to the treasure screen. This screen offers a report of the important information from the previous battle, recording upkeep fees, money earned and fame gained. Here you can also resurect mercenaries who died valiantly in battle. Any items you managed to grab during the mission will also be shown here.
Treasure Screen
Resurection
In the upper left corner of the treasure screen will be a list of all your mercenaries who died in battle, along with a resurection cost. You will be able to use the gold you just earned to resurect your people, and this can be an important strategy early on. If there is no one dead, simply click anywhere on the treasure screen or press any key to continue. If there is someone listed to be resurected you have a few more options. If you do not have enough money to pay the cost listed for any of your dead (usually twice the hiring cost) then again you can click anywhere or press Escape to continue. If you do have enough money you can either:
     1. Choose not to resurect anyone. Simply click on the rightmost part of the treasure screen or press Escape. Your dead mercenaries will be permanently lost.
     2. Highlight a mercenary in yellow by moving the cursor over their name or using the arrow/tab keys. Once highlighted, click or press enter to pay the price and resurect the mercenary. There is no permanent penalty for resurecting a character, and they keep all their equipment.
Upkeep
This scroll lists all of the important information about the resources available to your band. If you succeeded in the mission, you will recieve the amount of gold that was offered. If you failed the mission, your employer will pay you nothing. For every mission, whether won or lost, you will have to pay an upkeep fee for each of your mercenaries. Upkeep fees are listed in the View Characters section of the Rescource Management Screen. This gold is subtracted from your total. IMPORTANT!! If you enter a mission without enough gold to pay the upkeep on all your mercenaries and fail to achieve victory, you will lose the game completely!! Also please be aware that you will have to pay the upkeep on dead mercenaries as well as those who survive. The fame you gained or lost will also be listed here. You gain fame by completing the mission, and by killing monsters. You will lose fame for stealing items in the "Gaurd an Item Mission". If your fame goes below zero you will lose the game completely!! A high fame is very important, as it will allow you to gain access to hiring stronger mercenaries, buying more exotic equipment and will enable you to attempt the more difficult missions offered.
Spoils of War
During a mission you will be able to pick up items that monsters drop or steal items. All of the items you collected during the mission will be pictured here. You will only be able to pick up five items during any one mission. Special items are lost as soon as you accept your next mission (lost, stolen, expired, etc.) so we suggest that if you pick up any items immediatly go to the Specialty Item Screen of the Item section of the Resource Management Screen and look at the description of the items. Some items will have negative effects, so be wary.
