The first thing you probably want to do is jump right in to playing!! Although we suggest that you read the entire help file, this first section will give you enough information to get you on your way. Even if you don't read any other section you should at least read the strategy guide because it will give you many important tips that will keep you alive as you adventure in the land of Mythica.

Login Screen

To start a new game simply type in your desired party name and a password of your choice. Please keep in mind that your name and password must each be under ten characters in length. Press tab to cycle between the name and password feilds or click to select them. When you are done press enter or click on the continue button. If you have chosen a valid party name you will shortly be sent to the new party screen. If an "improper password" error apears on the screen then the name you chose has already been taken. Choose a new name and resubmit.

New Game Screen

From this screen you may choose what your initial party makeup will be. You are free to pick any combination. Highlight a character with the arrow or tab keys or by moving the mouse over them. Select a highlighted member by pressing enter or clicking the mouse button. When you have three characters selected press enter to confirm and begin the game or press escape to clear your party and select new members. You may also click on the ESC or ENTER text with the mouse to accomplish the same ends. When choosing be aware that recruits are the strongest, scouts are the fastest and archers are the most versatile. While pondering over what characters to choose, feel free to read the introductory story posted on the left of the screen.
