Barant
Here are the wild lands of Barant, characterized by it's diverse mix of races, neighboring towns often being inhabited by racial enemies. There is no overarching government ruling this savage area, and each town usually forms its own militia to protect itself. Because of the widespread proliferation of local forces, the lands which make up what is known as the Barant nation are renowned for being well armed and violent. There are countless little wars which rage between nearby towns, leaving the land in a state of constant strife. This makes it fertile ground for profitable missions.Diahri
In the sun blasted deserts of Diahri, few would survive for long. Fortunately, strong magic from the ten Tzarinas, court magicians of the Tzar who rules Diahri help the crops grow and protect against poisoning of the existing water. With the protection of the Tzarinas ever present, Diahri has been able to flourish, currently the second largest single kingdom in the world. Diahri is also home to the 13 Rose order of assassins, whose skills are highly prized. Wild beasts and bandits which inhabit the untamed dunes keep the people of Diahri ever vigilant.Thalasirmon
Under the shade offered by the tall trees of Thalasirmon, it is easy for one to find calm. Known far and wide for the Healing Pools, a small group of pools in the north of their land which have amazing healing powers, the elves that live there are nevertheless very isolationist. Wanting mostly to just be left alone, Thalasirmon only shares a treaty with Calidia for trade and to help suppress the wild maurading bands from Barant. Valued as traders far and wide, the elves also have a very proud if small military tradition. Thanks to recent merchant deals, humans are becoming more welcome here.Tsen Tsee
The brutal swamps of Tsen Tsee house the main saurian kingdom, the thriving remnants from an ancient invasion from the Dosbar islands, home of the saurians. Eventually the combined forces of Barant and Calidia stopped the waves of saurian invaders. They settled in the lands they had taken and since have flourished into a large if overly militant kingdom. Being xenophobic in nature, the saurians of Tsen Tsee rarely mix with other races. The lands they captured, however, still house many lost secrets of the people they destroyed, and small invasions from Barant are a fact of life.Calidia
The main human empire of Calidia is the largest single kingdom in the world, and they have a very deserved reputation for power. In addition to the many peasantry which they call into battle, they employ the royal order of the Knights of the Hawk, whose mounted battle prowess is well known. The Wizards of the White, the largest collection of learned magic users have their home in the Great Tower in Corman, former capitol of Calidia. However, thier forces despite their strength are currently stretched thin defending their borders, and so they occasionally hire mercenaries.Black Lands
The magic dead vampire abode of the Black Lands is rarely trespassed on sucessfully. The vampires which live there value their privacy, and are very persistant in hunting down any who approach the island. Despite this unsavory reputation, the many artifacts and rare magical items hidden there keep greedy merchants ever willing to pay handsomly for anyone willing to risk the dangers of the island for them.Dragon Mountains
Little is known about the rugged peaks of the Dragon Mountains, save that it is home to the most brutal of monsters. Few men ever return from the foothills of the mountains, fewer still ever speak of what they found there. Dragons are the most common creature to be seen, their large wings casting ominous shadows in the night sky. Although the dragons stay confined to their rocky home, their frequent appearance has given the entire region it's name. Few men are willing to venture here despite the potential rewards, and any intrepid band willing to brave the land is welcome.Dosbar
The Dosbar Islands are the hub of all mercenary activity across Mythica. Because of this, there are never missions offered here. Dosbar, the main island in the chain is where the guild is located. Dosbar's fortunate placement puts it right between the two main human kingdoms of Calidia and Diahrii, so it's ports are constantly full of traders. The large shipping industry makes Dosbar the ideal center of activity, as it means that an adventerous band can always find passage to anywhere in the world from it's teeming ports.
